Trip to Bubaneshwar - Part II

journey started...
the minute after train started, our Mr Train Man(ashay - regular train traveler) started his regular activities to look for the seats...
his activities -
1. confirming the seat numbers...
2. asking people to make that seat empty in a polite manner(normal man will never call it as polite)...
3. looking for bed arrangements...
and finally after ashay's hard work we were settled on our seats... after few formal chats with our compartment mates we sat together to decide... to make a
decision abt to continue the journey by train or go back to pune and get our bikes...ha ha.. such a nice and useless discussion it was...
next 2-3 hours were really irritating... it was just not regular... to be in the train…
but we made ourselves comfortable there...
and slowly after dinner, we were fine... and then our patte pisna shuru hua...
pehele nimish n vikram finished their one round where nimish bichara 10 rupaye haar gaya.. :)
and we settled on upper birth... me and vikram on one birth and nimish n ashay on other... this arrangement was to balance the weight on each birth...this ws my request as i was nt sure abt birth load bearing capacity... since for past five years, train management was in lalu's hands... :)
for next 3 hours we literally forgot that we were on train... game was going so interesting... we were back in our regular mood... shouting n shouting...
nw that was revenge with our compartment mates(mainky lower birth people)... as they had done the same thing with us...irritation...!
game bet was 5 rs... and at the end of it.. vikram was the highest gainer...i was second... and ashay n nimish were on losing side...
bt end game mai faasa palat gaya.. n we ended game with me on winning side..n vikram second... few photo clicking for the winner and we were off the birth for few very important activities... :)
nimish n ashay usual excitement took them to have a round in other births to see if there are any good girls.... :) pan akher nirasha.. there wasnt any good girl...
and then the main part(actually fight) started.... fight for birth.. between vikram n nimish.... what a scene it was... vikram n me were really enjoying nimish's irritation.. bt our social worker ashay sacrifice his birth.. and went to middle birth which no was ready to take... :)

and two days went like this... patte, shouting and troubling our train mates and usual gap-shaps...
n on monday morning we reached bhubaneshwar station...finaly out of train....

Trip to Bhuvaneshwar(Orissa and WB)

Trip to Bhuvaneshwar
Part - I
better name would be Mission-E-Patra B'day
after many trip planning mail chains and phone calls, finally at 5.30 on 6th march i was ready with my bags in ashay's hall and was confirming wid ashayfor all the neccessary things which he had asked me to... and at that momenet only....
aamchya trip cha pahila naska aamba padla....
ashay had forgotten where has he kept the tickets...btw Mr Great Planner Khote, very organised person had kept all the tickets and other documents neatly and together at one place.... only thing was he had forgotten that place... :)then i dialled the first war front call to vikram...as i thought he was out wid rahul so he will be able to take the tickets printouts...but to our badluch...Mr Always Early Vikram was a little bit hila hua because of extra dose of energy drinks... I had to make another call to Rahul... And this time god was with us... Rahul was all alert and he immediately started taking actions... and then god forgive us and hence ashay found the neatly kept bunch of tickets and documents.... :)
but this was not enough...
so as me and ashay finaly came out of ashay's home, just for confirmation we dialed our dearest friend...Mr Nimish, always very Early(Actualy never)...and to my surprise at 5.30 he was still in the office and i think was waiting for few good words from me and ashay......
but at the end, we were all there at platform..5 min before the train time....
Nimish was very happy, as poonam had come there to drop him.... so he was all enjoying the moment....
Ashay was a little sad, as Vikram and Rahul had not brought the chicken biryani parcel which he had asked....
Vikram was also happy...as he had completed all the planned task.. like doing the "facial"....
and as far as i was concerned, I was a little tensed about the "Train Journey"... after seeing the whole crowd, the pleasant (dont even say it) atmosphere at railway station and then finaly after seeing the sad faces of few elderly people in our train compartment.... to my surprise i was not the only one feeling it... as Mr not in a state of mind(vikram) also was sad coz of the same reason...
But still.... we were all set to start our journey... longest journey till date wid frnds....
To be continued.......

Rangnath Mishra Report

This report has already been discussed in loksabha. As expected, congress govt pushed this bill. So called secular(actually pseudo secular) govt is always in hurry to pass the bill/laws which will divide the people. It's not specific what criteria they use, it can be caste, religion, subcaste etc. But in all this there is some specific motto. As this report says, SC/ST of Christian community will also be considered as backwards. What is the need of this? Isn't it gonna be beneficiary for Conversion process? Can we do anything on this? are the other organisations in position to oppose this? At least they don't look strong except the few legendary political faces which present them at national level.

X'mas celebration

On 24th Dec and 25th Dec I saw a huge celebration of x'mas. Parents carrying their children to various places, huge music shows, gift distribution arranged on this eve. Felt great that people are happy but then it made me think. How was the x'mas celebration 5 years back ?
Apart from this big crowd pulling events, if somebody has observed then there were other things too. Many schools had arranged a rally (schools were not convent), many children and women (most of them were either from lower middle class or from slum) had gathered at places, there were jesus statues with flowers (fulache har - marathi) on it. I don't remember any european movie or event where Jesus statue was made attractive with flowers. Isn't it a little contraditory ? what is it exactly happening ? Is there something wrong going on around us and we are not able to see ? Is there something which is organised act and we are not able to see because the way it is getting carried out ? When was the last time we had heard of such celebration on x'mas.

Is the way shown in "A Wednesday" movie the right way?

Is the way shown in "A Wednesday" movie the right way?

Is the way shown in "A Wednesday" movie good? Does the situation really demand such way? The facts that really support this way are –
1. Afjhal Guru, the main culprit of the Parliament attack is still in Jail. Because of political matters, his capital punishment (Death penalty) decision is still pending.
2. Mumbai Blasts case was solved after 15 years.
3. Gujarat riot case is still not solved.
4. Kashmir issue related to Terrorism and related to Security at Border is still as it is.
5. Seven sister issue is still not solved. Instead it is getting worse. May be after some years it will not be a part of India.
6. A Naxalites issue is still not taken as a serious issue.
7. Number of blasts is increasing day by day.
8. People are taking this way for getting publicity. Same case happened in Rajasthan for getting the reservation.
9. SEZ issues are also going that way. People are opting for violent ways in which armed mob will decide about the issue.
10. Amarnath issue was also one of them. It was a simple decision between Amarnath Shrine board and Government. But it took a totally wrong turn and destroyed the valley business till one and half month.
What can be done to avoid this? How can we do something to avoid such things?
